Ctrl+Home Moves to the first slide
Ctrl+End Moves to the last slide
Ctrl+A Selects all slides

Selection Tips:

Mouse Shortcut Result
Ctrl+ click Selects all non-adjacent slides selected in Slide Sorter view whilst Ctrl key held down
Shift+click Selects all adjacent slides selected in Slide Sorter view whilst Shift key held down
Ctrl+ click Selects all non-adjacent objects selected in Slide view whilst Ctrl key held down
Shift+click Selects all adjacent objects selected in Slide view whilst Shift key held down
Mouse selection by holding mouse down and dragging round objects Selects all objects completely within the mouse selection.

NB: This is called “lassoing” and will not select any object not completely enclosed within mouse selection

Drawing And Formatting Tips

Item Description
Click mouse Selects an object
Drag mouse Draws an unconstrained object
Ctrl+Drag Draws a constrained object from the center outwards
Shift+Drag Draws a horizontally and vertically proportioned object from edge to edge (for example, draws a square with the Rectangle tool or a circle with the Ellipse tool)
Ctrl+D Duplicates any object selected eg autoshape, text box or even a slide or multiple selected slides
